This one-week Introduction to Podcasting Summer Camp is perfect for beginners interested in learning how to create, produce, and share their own podcast. Designed for aspiring podcasters of all backgrounds, this camp covers the essential building blocks of podcast creation, from concept to production.

Held Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (with a 20-minute break each day), students will dive into the fundamentals of podcast structure, scriptwriting, interview techniques, and choosing compelling subject matter and themes. You'll also learn about the technical side of audio production, including microphone setup, recording software, editing basics, and improving sound quality for a polished final product.

The camp will also introduce students to the business side of podcasting, such as how to build an audience, distribute your show, and explore sponsorship opportunities.

By the end of the week, students will have the foundation to start developing their own podcast series, with guidance from experienced instructors and hands-on creative work in a collaborative setting. No prior experience is required—just bring your voice and your ideas!
